GOD IS A DJ is the first retrospective exhibition of photographer Rutger Geerling, presented by Samsung, curated by the Fotomuseum aan het Vrijthof and with an impressive collection of his photographic oeuvre. For more than 25 years Rutger has traveled the world to shoot the world’s biggest festivals and artists. Rutger is mostly known for his work as renowned lead photographer for global festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival. He has worked with many of the world’s number top DJ’s including Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Fedde le Grand, W&W and Timmy Trumpet.

Exhibition
For the exhibition, Rutger has made a selection of his best work over the years. You will get a peek behind the scenes, a look at the most terrific stages, legendary crowd shots and unique footage of the biggest DJs in the world. There will also be several attributes present that mean a lot to Rutger.
This is a chance for you to see through the lens of a legendary photographer. The exhibition will take place from October 19 till November 13.
